The results of a medical examination of 3737 students of different faculties between the ages of 17 and 22 were examined. Medical examinations were conducted by the doctors of the medical centers of universities. Material of the study: the study involved 24 young athletes aged 11–12 years who trained at the stage of preliminary basic training. Research methods: indicators of speed-strength abilities of 11-12 year old rugby players were determined using the following tests: 30 m run from a high start, standing long jump, triple jump, 30 m run with a ball, shuttle run (3x10 m), passing the ball in pairs. Results: a different degree of correlation was established between the indicators of test exercises that were used to determine the speed-strength abilities of 11-12-year-old rugby players: between the results of tests of running 30 meters from a high start, standing long jump, a triple jump from a place and running to 30 meters with the ball, and between the 30 meters run with the ball and the shuttle run 3 x 10 meters - a significant relationship (r=0,712-0,817). Between the results of standing long jump, a shuttle run of 3 to 10 meters and the number of ball passes on the spot in pairs, there is a low degree of manifestation (r = 0,309-0,455). Between the indicators of other test exercises that were used in our study, a moderately pronounced relationship was established (r=0,499-0,674). Conclusions: the effectiveness of the use of complexes of special exercises for the development of speed-strength abilities of rugby players at the stage of preliminary basic training has been proven. М.; Lytvynenko, A.; Griban, G.The article presents results of the investigation of dynamics of psycho-emotional state and individual psychological characteristics of students during physical education. 60 students were part in the research. The level of extraversion, emotional stability, and type of temperament were determined according to the methodology of H. Eysenck. The assessment of well-being, activity, and mood was carried out using the WAM test. The differentiation of physical education classes, applying physical exercises according to the students’ temperaments, is determined to influence their emotional state and individual-psychological characteristics positively. The students of experimental groups are defined to have better indicators of well-being, activity, mood, extraversion and introversion, neuroticism than those of control groups at the end of the experiment. El artículo presenta los resultados de la investigación de la dinámica del estado psicoemocional y las características psicológicas individuales de los estudiantes durante la educación física. 60 estudiantes participan en la investigación. El nivel de extraversión, la estabilidad emocional y el tipo de temperamento se determinaron de acuerdo con la metodología de H. Eysenck. La evaluación del bienestar, la actividad y el estado de ánimo se realizó mediante la prueba WAM. La diferenciación de las clases de educación física, aplicando ejercicios físicos de acuerdo con el temperamento de los estudiantes, está determinada a influir positivamente en su estado emocional y sus características psicológicas individuales. М.; Lytvynenko, A.; Prontenko, K.The influence of the kettlebell lifting training on the functional abilities of the respiratory system of the cadets during studying at higher military educational institutions (HMEI) is examined in the article. Also, a comparative analysis of the indices of the cadets’ respiratory system depending on their sports qualification in kettlebell lifting is conducted. Cadets of the 1st – 5th years of study (n=474) of S. P. Koroliov Zhytomyr Military Institute who were studying according to the current system of physical training (group А, n=416) and cadets who were attending a kettlebell lifting classes during the studying (group B, n=58) took part in the investigation. The investigation of the cadets’ respiratory system efficiency was conducted concerning these indicators: vital capacity, duration of holding of breathing during the inhalation, duration of holding of breathing during the exhalation, respiratory muscles endurance, life index and maximal oxygen consumption. Authentically better respiratory system indices in group B in comparison with group A are discovered (р < 0.05–0.001) that proves the efficiency of kettlebell lifting activity concerning the improvement of morphofunctional development of the cadets in contrast to the current system of physical training at HMEI. The respiratory system indices are improved with increased sports qualification of kettlebell lifters that confirms the positive effect of kettlebell lifting activity on the functional capacity of the main organism systems of cadets. Investigation shows the necessity of the implementation of kettlebell lifting to the physical training of the cadets who are the future Ukrainian Armed Forces’ officers in order to ensure high efficiency of the future professional activity, improve health and working capacity.Публікація Dynamics of the students’ physical fitness while studying at higher educational institutions(International Journal of Applied Exercise Physiology, 2020) Grokhova, G.The article presents an analysis of the dynamics of the students’ physical fitness while studying at Ukrainian higher educational institutions. The level of physical fitness was assessed by the results in exercises that characterize the development of basic physical qualities: speed qualities (100 m run), speed and power qualities (long standing jump), power qualities (pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups for males; flexed arm hang, push-ups, and sit-ups for females), endurance (3000 m run for males and 2000 m run for females), flexibility (bending forward from a sitting position), agility (4 x 9 m shuttle run). The study was conducted in Polissia National University in 2013-2019. 16 groups of the students from the faculties of economics, agronomy, ecology, technology, agricultural management, and agriculture mechanization took part in the study; in total, the research involved 369 students, including 195 males and 174 females. The research methods included the analysis and generalization of scientific, educational and methodical literature on physical education, the methods of conceptual and comparative, system and structural analysis, pedagogical observation, testing, the methods of statistical data processing.Публікація Formation of health and fitness competencies of students in the process of physical education(Montenegrin Sports Academy, 2020) Griban, G.; Kоbernyk, O.; Lytvynenko, A.The technology of forming the health and fitness competencies of students of higher educational institutions is reviewed in the present paper, which includes designing the highly efficient educational activity of students and the management activity of a teacher with the principal orientation to the content and forms of the educational process in the personal-development technologies of training. The study aims to substantiate, implement, and verify the efficiency of the original methodical system of physical education of students of Ukrainian higher educational institutions. A total of 87 students, aged 18–22, including 46 males and 41 females, participated in the study. The research methods were conceptual-comparative analysis, questionnaires and surveys, pedagogical observations, expert assessments, testing, pedagogical experiment, and statistical methods. It has been determined that the original methodical system, implemented in the educational process of physical education, contributes to improving the quality of the physical education of students, forming highly-developed health and fitness competencies that are required during professional activity to maintain a high level of physical fitness and working capacity.Публікація Horting as a Means of Physical Education for Pupils and Students(The Academy of Management and Administration in Opole, 2020) Литвиненко, А. Research materials: study involved schoolchildren 12-13 years old (n=62). Results: Rugby-5 was introduced in lessons of physical training; computer training program was used for theoretical training in Rugby-5, the development is designed to improve the level of the functional state of the body of school children. Conclusions: proved the effectiveness of introducing Rugby-5; the level of physical development and physical readiness in pupils of 12- 13 years did not have significant differences (p>0,05), the functional state of the organism had positive changes (p<0,01); factor analysis identified two groups of factors that contributed to improving the performance of the cardiovascular system of the organism.Публікація Influence of positive and negative factors on the university students’ health(ALUNA Publishing House, 2020) Литвиненко, А. А.; Griban, G.The aim is to analyze the factors that affect the students’ health both positively and negatively and to evaluate the real health status of Ukrainian student youth. Materials and methods: The research was conducted at Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University and University of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, 647 students of the 1st – 4th years of study were examined. To study both negative and positive factors, we conducted a survey of the students of different genders of several education departments, using original questionnaires. To analyze the results of the students’ self-assessment of their health state, the methodology of V. P. Voitenko, which contains 27 questions that characterize the most important aspects of well-being, mood, activity, sleep quality, pain senses and lifestyle of students, was applied. Results: It was determined that the most important factors for the preservation of health included nutrition, physical activity, active leisure, sleep, love and sex. 56.3 % of male students and 49.9 % of female ones indicated that motor activity is of great importance for health care. The students stated that the most dangerous health factors included drug use, radioactive contamination of the environment, smoking, alcohol abuse, stress, etc. It was found that the highest percentage of students had satisfactory and poor health levels – 44.8-54.9 % and 17.8-29.5 % respectively. Conclusions: A wide range of specific components of the educational process and the healthy lifestyle of students can have different effects on life. Lifestyle is one of the many factors that affect students’ health. The students’ self-assessment of their health state lets to manage the educational process of physical education efficiently, allocate physical activity and apply individual tasks rationally.Публікація Informatization on the physical culture of students using the «physical education» computer program(2017) Tserkovna, O.; Ashanin, V.; Filenko, L.; Pasko, V.Purpose: To analyze the possibilities of using computer programs for informatization of physical culture of students 8-16 years old. Results: computer program that allows recording and analyzing individual indicators of the physical development and state of health of students has been developed. The computer program performs the distribution of physical loads on the basis of individual regression models. The methodical system is created on the basis of methodological, theoretical and practical concepts taking into account the humanistic, systemic, activity, personally oriented, innovative, cultural, and competency-based approaches. М.; Lytvynenko, A.; Griban, G.The aim is to find out the role of motor activity in developing a healthy lifestyle of student youth in the process of physical education. Materials and methods: The study involved 647 students, aged 18-22. The research methods are the analysis and synthesis of the literature, analysis of curricula, programs, methodological support and quality of training, questionnaires, and the methods of mathematical statistics. Results: It is determined that the majority of the students had no need for a healthy lifestyle, the lack of knowledge in this area, low activity while performing the requirements of a healthy lifestyle, irrational organization of educational activities, bad habits and other factors that negatively affect their health. Сonclusions: The current system of physical education in the higher education institutions of Ukraine cannot change the attitude of students to a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of physical education, in addition to the formation of physical skills and development of students’ physical qualities, should be educational work aimed at forming a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle.Публікація Teaching and learning informatization at the universities of physical culture(Journal of Physical Education and Sport, 2017) Filenko, L.; Ashanin, V.; Basenko, O.; Petrenko, Y.Problem Statement. The paper describes information technologies used for training students. Approach. Computer-based training and supervisory systems improve the learning process. This research shows that the quality of computer-based training programs designed for dealing with databases in physical education and sports is insufficient. Purpose. We introduce an algorithm of creating computer-based training and control programs. We have also designed an computer-based training program – Sports & Physical Education Databases. Results. The experiment involved 240 students (n = 240). We have conducted a corresponding survey and got a 10/12 estimate after assessing the computer-based training program. The peer review has showed that respondents are equal of their opinions (ρ = 0.35; p > 0.05). Our computer-based program efficiency was tested by statistical hypotheses; its positive effect was proven by the Student’s test – t = 3.12 on the back of the t=1.98 standard (p > 0.01). Conclusion. We have analyzed the prospects of applying modern information tools in training and assessing knowledge of physical culture students. We have also identified research and development tools used to create information-based learning environments, as well as a wide range of computer training programs. This paper substantiates theoretical principles of learning based on computer training technologies. Modern society requires the theory and practice of higher education institutions to direct the accumulated scientific experience at the basis of the formation of a new structure of competent professionals who can think creatively, navigate in the information space, master worldview paradigms on their own and systematically maintain their health and high mental and physical capacity. As a result, the need for effective preparation of students for independent creative and research activities and the ability to maintain their physical condition has significantly increased.
