Abstract

The paper emphasizes that there is a huge amount of measuring equipment to control the quality of color transfer. However, for printing printers, these devices are expensive and increase the time of order fulfillment. Therefore, the quality control of the color of printed products is mainly carried out at the stage of prepress.The prepress worker often has to consult with the printer about the color before sending the layout for printing, because the printer is the most competent in this matter. In this case, the color recommendations received from the printer have a number of significant shortcomings, which are mainly that the information obtained is inaccurate, unsystematic. The urgency of the problem of the absence of such structured stages of the work of a press engineer to take into account the peculiarities of color transfer is emphasized.
