Abstract

The transmission spectrum of a thin film of the Rb2CuCl3 compound is investigated. The transmission of thin films depends not only on the absorption coefficient, but is also determined by multiple reflections inside the layer, which leads to light interference. The dependence of the refractive index on the wavelength n (λ) was determined from the transmission spectra with allowance for interference. To perform calculations in the C ++ programming language in the Visual Studio environment, a program was developed that makes it possible to significantly facilitate and speed up the calculation, as well as increase the accuracy of determining the optical characteristics.
