The publication analyzes the main methods of creating 2D animation and their use in music videos. The evolution of technologies, from frame-by-frame hand-drawn animation to digital tools that have greatly simplified the production process, is considered. Particular attention is paid to the impact of animation on the visual style of music videos, its ability to convey symbolism and emotional mood of the composition. The role of modern software in the creation of ani mated videos and its availability for independent artists is also discussed. The article also highlights the growing popularity of 2D animation in the music industry and its importance in shaping the unique artistic image of performers.
