Abstract

This article analyses the differences between the RGB and CMYK colour models and their application in digital devices and printing. It also explains the mathematical principles of converting RGB images to CMYK format for print preparation. Attention is paid to colour management systems (CMS), ICC profiles, and gamut mapping algorithms that help maintain colour consistency across devices.
