Abstract

This paper discusses the automation of laboratory thermometer calibration, focusing on the reliability and accuracy of mercury thermometers, which remain essential in various scientific and industrial applications. Despite environmental restrictions, these thermometers are still used where high precision is required. The study proposes automating the calibration process by replacing manual reading with an optical system and a digital thermostat, ensuring stable measurement conditions.
