Abstract

This paper examines key aspects related to the study of methods for constructing explanations of recommendations for new users in information systems. This issue is extremely relevant in the context of the rapid development of modern recommender systems. In this regard, an important aspect is ensuring the transparency of the recommendation process, i.e. providing explanations as to why this particular recommendation was offered to the user. This allows not only to increase trust in the system, but also to improve interaction wІТh ІТ.
