Abstract

The study of the nature of the electromagnetic pulses transformation in nonhomogeneous non-stationary media is a fundamental importance for many ap plied electrodynamic problems. Pulses with an atypical shape are of particular interest. These include the Airy pulse, which has an asymmetric shape: the main lobe and a rapidly oscillating "tail" that decays at the infinity. Since the deformation of a pulse in time under the influence of spatial heterogeneity has a qualitative effect on its structure, it is appropriate to consider the problems of the interaction of such a pulse in a non-stationary environment.
