Abstract

This work is devoted electrical network safety, namely, operability of automatic switches under the influence of thermal current. The disconnections time of the switches depend on the number of cycles. With an increase in the number of cycles, the response time rises. When installing circuit breakers, this property is not taken into account. For this reason, the risk of current overload increases, the quality of wire insulation deteriorates, and the risk of fire increases. In order to solve this problem, it is proposed to take into account the number of cycles using electric counters.
