Abstract

The purpose of this work is to overview and analyze main algorithms used in existing financial calculators, their advantages and disadvantages in order to propose more accurate way of calculating time for person to achieve their financial goals. The main purpose of the investigation is to show that not only net income influences on time of goal achievement, but also such factors like level of motivation, effort, interest or certain social constraints or norms. The result of the investigation is a proposed algorithm that takes into account all mentioned factors and makes the most accurate time estimation.
