Abstract

There is a myth that the flag should not be blue-yellow, but yellow-blue, that is, that the Ukrainian flag has been turned over and that all the calamities and misfortunes will suffer the state. Photos, posters, postcards from the time of the UNR show that both versions were used. However, it has been documented that in 1918 hetman Skoropadsky approved the upper blue strip and the yellow lower at the official level.
