Проблеми тендерної дискримінації в українській іт-сфері

Abstract

This work is devoted to the problem of gender discrimination in the Ukrainian IT-industry. Some of the issues that greatly affect women in the tech industry include unequal pay, unequal promotion, unsolicited sexual advances and so on. Issues such unequal pay create a hostile working environment for women. When women are paid less because of their gender, it is a form of sex discrimination. When women are listened less because if their gender, it is a form of sex discrimination. Discrimination is a dark spot on the reputation of the whole IT-industry.
