dc.description.abstract	Within framework of our work we have reviewed use of QR codes in production, taking into account their important role in production management. Starting with breakdown of structure and features of QR codes and diagram of scanning process, we presented variety of ways in which QR codes can be used in manufacturing. Particular attention was paid to inventory management and we gave concrete examples of how QR codes can be used to optimise and control inventory. In addition, overview of main types of QR codes that can be used in production management was given.
