Аналіз жанрів візуальних новел

Abstract

The article examines the main genres of visual novels as forms of interactive digital storytelling. The characteristic features of fantasy and magic, mystical fiction, thriller and drama are analyzed, their popularity among authors and audiences, as well as the possibilities of combining several genres in one work. The choice of a genre mix of magic, mystical fiction, thriller and drama as the basis for one's own visual novel project is justified. The advantages and challenges associated with a multi-genre approach are considered.
