Rather than merely replicating the in-game interface, the study emphasizes the importance of projecting interaction logic, information architecture, and micro-interactions tailored to gamers' needs. Special focus is given to managing complex game data, such as inventories and mission planning, through dynamic UI elements. The research highlights how well-designed companion apps enhance player engagement and extend the gaming experience beyond the primary platform.
