Дифракция плоской волны на цилиндре с оболочкой из метаматериала

Abstract

The scattering of plane electromagnetic waves by the metamaterial covered cylinder has been considered. This problem has been solved on the base of the equations for electromagnetic field components in the cylinder and in the surrounding space. Basic attention was spared to spatial distribution visualization of the electromagnetic field components into a cylinder and in its near zone. The effect of the left-handed material parameters on the scattered field spatial distribution have been investigated on the base of developed project. Numerical computations for different material parameters and geometrical sizes of the cylinder and metamaterial cladding have been carried out.
