Abstract

This article examines the classification and standardization of video transitions in digital video editing systems. The study analyzes the role of video transitions in maintaining visual continuity and improving the perception of video content. Particular attention is paid to the differences in naming, parameters, and implementation of transitions in various editing software. The paper discusses the main categories of video transitions and proposes a structured approach to their classification. The results show that the systematization of video transitions can simplify their use in editing environments and improve the efficiency of digital video production
