Abstract

This work examines the evolution and importance of live streaming in today's digital world. The history of the technology's development, from the 1990s, when the first streaming media players appeared, to modern platforms such as YouTube Live and Twitch, is revealed. The impact of social media on the popularization of live streaming and its use in marketing, advertising, education, and communication is analyzed. Statistics are also provided to support the rapid growth of the industry, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The conclusion emphasizes that live streaming is not just a trend, but a powerful tool that is changing the way we consume content and interact in the digital environment.
