Y.; Kharchenko, N.A method to control bit rate while compressing video data subject to approaching maximal quality of the image has been proposed. We use the bisection method to find optimal parameters of the compressor. This method allows us to control the accuracy of the optimal values to find without doing the exhaustive search. S.A simple method of assessment of electrocardiogram (ECG) quality based on lossless data compression is proposed. It is intended for a quick preliminary assessment of ECG in terms of further analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) based on a sequence of R-peaks. The method does not require a priori information about the type, nature and intensity of noise. The only output parameter of pre-processing step is the ECG compression ratio. Thresholds of compression ratio are determined, above which the results of further analysis of HRV are the same as for the corresponding ECG not distorted by noise. For a sampling frequency of 250 Hz, the threshold is equal to 1.4, for a frequency of 2000 Hz, it is 4.0. The results are shown for both synthetic ECG and ECG received using a personal screening diagnostic device.Публікація Automatic recognition of congestive heart failure signs in heart rate variability data(IEEE, 2022) Pulavskyi, A. S.Automatic screening of the population for congestive heart failure (CHF) is a matter of pressing concern due to the severity of the health consequences resulting in disability and death of people. On the one hand, portable devices working with ECG signals become convenient tools for the lay user due to the simplicity. On the other hand, analyzing the specific behavior of the R-peaks sequence (analysis of heart rate variability) in cardiac pathologies allows identifying the patterns inherent in particular heart dysfunction. Such patterns are effectively differentiated using symbolic dynamics methods and the subsequent application of machine learning methods. In this study, a highly specific model was obtained (sensitivity 0.71, specificity 0.96), suitable for automatic screening of CHF. Its operability and performance characteristics have been verified through testing in several publicly available databases.Публікація Celf: веб-платформа для автоматичного виконання політики конфіденційності(видавництво "МАДРИД", 2019) Безрук, В. Щоб вирішити цю проблему, ми розробили Celf, веб-фреймворк, що дозволяє програмісту відокремити реалізацію політики потоку інформації від решти функціональних можливостей. Веб-платформа застосовує бібліотеку мови програмування Jeeves для автоматичного застосування політики конфіденційності. Наш підхід є новим у тому, що він надає наскрізні гарантії опосередковуючи взаємодії між інтерфейсом, шарами додатків і баз даних. Resistance to change the format and noise allows to protect the video against basic types of attacks by malicious parties. A new method of embedding watermarking in video based on wavelet transform and error-coding theory is proposed. In this Recommendation antenna patterns are assumed isotropic in elevation plane. It is shown that to increase an accuracy of calculations by this technique, it is necessary to take into account the difference between the terminal antennas pattern and isotropic antennas. A detailed analysis of the propagation of radio waves sub-model for reflection from the sporadic layer E. The significant influence of the distance between the terminals and the types of their antennas on the calculation results for this sub-model. The quantitative corrections for typical short-wave and ultra-short wave antennas are determined. It is shown that the proposed model for constructing the code has the ability to reduce the initial number of bits, and also allows you to form a code description of the transformant by a set of independent code blocks. This makes it possible to use this coding method in a video bit rate control system.Публікація Controlling the parameters of compression of video frames using a bitwise transformants transmission(“Science-Based Technologies”, 2016) Tverdokhleb, V. V.It outlines the main aspects of the organization of the method of control parameters of compression, in which the transformant considered as the three-dimensional object. This allows controlling the bitrate by bitwise transmission transforman witht truncating a number of bit planes in accordance with the level of the allowable error. As a mechanism for making operating decisions, using dynamic programming method, based on the principle of Bellman's optimality. It provides a way to organize data for this method of control, taking into account the principles of the method of successive approximations technology Progressive JPEG. A mathematical model of the control method presented. Shown the necessity of reducing the number of states of the algorithm and suggests methods that reduce the number of states, thereby increasing the speed of the algorithm based on the division of the transformant according to the degree of difficulty.Публікація Creating the information basis of spectral masks for automated radiomonitoring(2019) Kipenskiy, A.,; Kaliuzhniy, M.; Zadonskiy, O.; Guo, Q.The report presents the results of developing a method for constructing, experimentally checking and creating an information basis for spectral masks for transmitters of basic digital and analog radio technologies. The source data for the construction of spectral masks was a sample of radio electronic devices (RED) types from a database of frequency assignments that differ either by the range of operating frequencies, either by the radiation class, or by the type of modulating data code. A database of spectral masks and an algorithm for their construction was developed on the basis of tabular data. The software product allows the formation of a dynamic list of spectral masks, for visual and convenient work with the developed database (DB) of transmitting devices. His application made it possible to construct spectral masks for transmitting devices of basic digital and analog radio technologies. For integration into the spectrum analyzers, the possibility of mass translation of table values into the necessary formats is provided.Публікація Design and Implementation of Probabilistic Methods for Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radios(IEEE, 2023) Stanislav Ivanenko; Petr Doleï¿œel; Jan Pidanič; Valeriy Bezruk; Andrii Ponomarov; Oleksii FedorovThe paper deals with new unconventional methods of detecting unoccupied frequency channels in cognitive radios. The main feature of these methods consists in their ability of detecting unknown signals in the presence of noise under the condition of a priori uncertainty. It makes it possible to increase the efficiency of detecting unoccupied frequency channels in cognitive radios due to the fact that these methods track changes in the probabilistic properties of observations. During the course of spectrum sensing of the frequency range, the detected signals are divided into known (classified training samples of which are available in the system) and unknown ones. Application of methods for recognizing specified signals in the presence of unknown signals makes it possible to simultaneously avoid the erroneous occupation of a frequency channel by a secondary user, in the case when previously unregistered signal occurs, and also refresh the cognitive radio database. Н.When solving the actual task of detecting by its own acoustic emission (AE) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), making a potential threat to various areas of human activity, it becomes necessary to distinguish its signal from all other acoustic noises. The application of the autoregression model, widely used in practice, is complicated by the need to use significantly high orders of the model, since the distinguishing features of the UAV acoustic signal that differ it from other signals are located in the low-frequency region of the spectrum. The article proposes the use of a composite autoregression model that adequately describes the correlation properties of a signal at significant time intervals and provides an increase in spectral resolution in the low-frequency region. Experimental studies carried out on using the proposed mathematical model show significant differences in the spectral power density (SPD) of UAVs AE from SPD of various sources’ noise, which improve the quality characteristics of the UAV detection-recognition problem. A simplified procedure is proposed for determining frequencies of SPD peaks of a long-term autoregression model without spectrum calculation, which is advisable to use when working in real time.Публікація Determination of low hemoglobin level in human using the analysis of symbolic dynamics of the heart rate variability,(IEEE, 2017) Кривенко, С. А.; Krivenko, S. S.; Pulavskyi, A. A.Symbolic dynamics of electrocardiograms (ECG) carries the information about functioning of various human body systems. A method for distinguishing the men with low hemoglobin value from the men with normal hemoglobin value by analyzing the symbolic dynamics of the heart rate variability was proposed in the research. The method has got an acceptable sensitivity (0.67-0.80) and specificity (0.80-1.00) and works by using a single lead ECG.
