Abstract

The article deals with the problems of the value crisis of democracy in a globalized society. The main reason for the crisis of democratic values in a globalized information society is the weakening and erosion of the modern state. National governments can no longer control the political situation within states. Globalization is changing the subject of work, the formation of consciousness is becoming a business, and citizens are increasingly doubting the ability of the state to fulfill its functions. The growing influence of transnational corporations on the political structures leads to a crisis of the state model of the world economy.
