Abstract

This work explores the similarities and differences between art and science as forms of spiritual and practical mastery of reality. It highlights key grounds for comparison, including the goals, ways of reflecting reality, ways of thinking, sign systems, and degrees of objectivity and subjectivity. Despite their differences, the study suggests that art and science share common features and may interact and influence each other.
