Abstract

In the modern world, the idea of humanization of modern society is extremely relevant. During this report the basic aspects of the idea of humanism were investigated, the preconditions of origin were analyzed, the prospects of development were summarized. A very controversial issue on the belonging of humanism to the category of ideology was also considered, and several authoritative opinions on this issue were analyzed. Aspects of the development of generally accepted ideologies, which became known in the early 19th century, were taken as a basis.
