Abstract

The paper addresses the problem of accounting for the movement and disposal of medicines and medical devices in a medical institution. The current workflow is organized but remains multi-stage and includes repeated data entry, paper documents, and delayed control procedures. Existing approaches include partial modernization of the current process, the use of general-purpose accounting software, and the development of a specialized digital solution. The proposed approach is based on creating an information system that reflects the real document flow and can be adapted to the needs of similar medical institutions. Its implementation is expected to reduce manual operations, improve data consistency, and increase transparency of control.
