The purpose of the work is to provide technical expertise of electric motors by developing metrological support for testing electric motors. Research methods - a comparative analysis of the existing regulatory framework for the safety of electric motors, measurement methods of controlled parameters, test methods. The essence, purpose, tasks and content of tests of safety parameters of electric motors are considered. The normative documents are proposed in accordance with which tests of safety parameters of electric motors are carried out.
