Abstract

The paper investigates the features of measuring the acoustic characteristics of the premises by TDS spectrometry in the time domain, and MLS using a pseudorandom sequence of maximum length. Records of TDS and MLS reviews in the Conservatory Hall have been investigated. Note the higher signal-to-noise ratio when measured by the TDS method. This is due to the fact that to obtain the impulse response used FM signal with a duration of 5 times the duration ofthe MLS sequence (10 s and 2 s). The disadvantage is that the test room should be linear and stationary over time.
