Abstract

The article explores the principles of modern digital design using Rhinoceros 3D and the NURBS mathematical model. It focuses on the transition from static geometry to a parametric approach, where object forms are defined by systems of interconnected variables and algorithmic dependencies. The study analyzes the computational nature of design operations within the Grasshopper environment, emphasizing the advantages of automated model updates and hierarchical data structures. Special attention is given to the role of algorithmic thinking in optimizing complex spatial systems. Ultimately, the synergy between NURBS-geometry and algorithmic control is presented as a fundamental tool for adaptive digital engineering and high-precision modeling.
