Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of an intelligent system for personalised selection of sugar-free products based on nutritional analysis. The system targets people with diabetes and those with dietary restrictions. A structured database of products is formed with extended nutritional profiles including glycemic index, glycemic load, type of sugar substitute, and safety ratings for different user groups. An AI-powered consultant processes user queries in natural language and generates personalised recommendations using the RAG technique. The practical value lies in providing evidence-based product selection support for users who lack specialised nutritional knowledge.
