Використання моделі sir для прогнозування епідемії COVID-19

Abstract

The paper considers the important problem of the COVID-19 virus in Ukraine. Based on real statistical data, a classical model of the SIR epidemic for the Ukrainian one city population is built. The model is visualised in the Maple symbolic computing package and shows the dynamics of infected and uninfected people over a certain period of time. The model was used to show how the epidemic affects the population and changes the number of infected and susceptible people. The results obtained correspond to real epidemiological data, which confirms the correctness of the model.
