Abstract

The article examines the main characteristics of modern capitalist society. It is shown that capitalism is an economic system of production and distribution based on private property, legal equality and free enterprise. The main criterion for making economic decisions is the desire to increase capital and make a profit, and unemployment is a positive factor in conducting capitalist activities. The essence of capitalism in the information society remains the same. Its essence remains the same. And there is nothing immoral in the means of obtaining added value, all means justify the end.
