Abstract

The article addresses the issue of the existence of gender stereotypes in Ukrainian IT, and whether there is a difference in work in IT for men and women. Why more men than women work in IT? Legislative regulation of gender equality in the labor market of Ukraine is considered, the phenomenon of gender is analyzed (in) equality in the labor market in general and in the field of information technology (IT) in particular. The factors of low level of women's involvement in the labor market in the field of IT are highlighted. Features of gender segregation in the field of information technology in Ukraine.
