Abstract

This article analyzes the integration of wireless technologies within the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, focusing on the synergy between ZigBee, LoRa, and NB-IoT. It evaluates their performance in complex indoor and urban environments, considering signal propagation challenges such as physical barriers and multipath fading. The study highlights the trade-offs between data rate, energy efficiency, and coverage. The research concludes that combining ZigBee, LoRa and NB-IoT protocols enables seamless connectivity transitions from smart home applications to large-scale smart city infrastructures
