Abstract

The paper examines an intelligent information system for automating food ordering in Intercity trains. Key features include a mobile-first interface with QR-code identification, an ML-based recommendation engine, and an automated inventory management module. The research specifically addresses high availability and data synchronization under unstable network conditions using an Offline-first architectural approach. Implementation optimizes supply chains and reduces food waste while significantly enhancing passenger satisfaction through service acceleration. Furthermore, the integration of real-time analytics provides a scalable solution for modernizing railway catering services in a digital economy.
