Abstract

The problem of misunderstanding the importance of the studied disciplines of the curriculum by students is one of the most urgent in the system of Ukrainian higher education, since it is it that entails a decrease in the level of motivation to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge. A low level of motivation can have a very negative effect on the formation of the competence of a future specialist. These theses describe and reveal this problem, and also propose ways to solve it – to involve students in the development of applied project activities as one of the types of educational activities.
