Abstract

The report embraces main stages of development, creation and implementation of the universal multimedia shooting trainer allowing the use of combat arms as well as pneumatic and laser simulators. It includes front-edge decisions of a real time processing multimedia signals and images of visible and invisible objects. The strongest features of multimedia computer games were used, wishes of police, army, security services and special divisions for struggle against terrorism were taken into account, also experience and rules of shooting from fire-arms in shooting-galleries and last computer and digital TV engineering achievements were involved. System hardware provides safety training and a high accuracy in estimating shooting results.
