Abstract

In the context of the rapid development of modern infocommunication networks and the continuous growth of data traffic, the choice and optimization of routing protocols are becoming increasingly critical. This topic is highly relevant today, as ensuring high performance, fast adaptation to topology changes, and timely reaction to failures is essential for the stable operation of corporate and provider infrastructures. The purpose of this work is to analyze the potential of the EIGRP protocol for improving routing efficiency in infocommunication networks and to conduct an experimental evaluation of its performance under different conditions. The object of the study is the data routing process within the network, while the subject is the functional capabilities and features of the EIGRP protocol.
