Abstract

The Russian-Ukrainian war acquired a unprecedented communicative space, turning social networks into a real «information front». Current digital platforms in the context of the conflict show a double bottom: they provide global support for Ukraine and at the same time serve as a tool for hostile disinformation. The Russian Federation actively uses cyberspace for information pressure, launching bots, trolls and targeted influence operations. An exceptional threat is the activity of «superspreaders» – confirmed accounts that generate about 80% of interactions with questionable content. The problem is exacerbated by the vulnerability of platform moderation, which eliminates only 8–15% of questionable posts. The purpose of the study is to understand these challenges to establish the vulnerabilities of domestic and global information spaces.
