Abstract

Natural and human resources of the Ukrainian nation have always attracted the attention of neighboring states. Therefore, Ukraine for quite a long period of time remained dependent state. Gaining independence was a triumph for the entire people. In honor of this event, jubilee coins were coined and maidans and streets were renamed. In my article, I want to tell about the referendum on December 1, 1991, which confirmed the patriotism of our people and the very fact of Ukraine's independence.
