Abstract

This paper evaluates BPSK and QPSK (31/63/125 baud) modes in RF channels under complex signal and interference conditions. The analysis covers spectral efficiency and interference immunity using forward error correction. QPSK convolutional coding is compared with BPSK performance under AWGN and multipath fading conditions. The results show that BPSK outperforms other codes in low signal-to-noise environments due to its narrow bandwidth, while QPSK offers bandwidth flexibility.
