Abstract

This work is devoted to the problem of designing communication networks. Ensuring the requirements for the structure and parameters of the network must be performed through the use of design methods that comprehensively take them into account. Designing a communication network is most often an optimization problem, for its solution the most common are heuristic algorithms, graph theory methods, and mathematical programming. Methods for designing communication networks must take into account the current characteristics of information flows, and requirements for the level of information security, quality of service, reliability, etc.
