dc.description.abstract	The paper reviewed the history and prospects of development of JCGM documents for evaluation of measurement uncertainty. It is shown that the application of the Bayesian approach in these documents is a strategic objective of WG1 JCGM. Realization of Bayesian approach in the NewGUM is reviewed.
