dc.description.abstract	OTDR measurements are an essential component of the work carried out during the installation and operation of fiber-optic communication lines. With their help, the quality of the optical lines is determined. One of the main advantages of an OTDR is that it can be used to test fiber from only one end, according to the principle of a radar system. The principle of operation Optical Time Domain Reflectometer is based on measuring the power of light radiation.
