Abstract

The article examines the essence of the potential for ensuring the economic security of an enterprise and its role in maintaining stable functioning under conditions of an unstable environment. It is substantiated that this potential should be understood as a set of current and prospective capabilities of an enterprise aimed at maintaining an appropriate level of economic security, reducing vulnerability to threats, and ensuring sustainable development. Particular attention is paid to the resource, personnel, organizational, and managerial components that determine the enterprise’s ability to respond effectively to risks and support its economic stability.
