This publication is devoted to the study of the possibility of detecting drones using acoustic installations. Here are considered the most characteristic acoustic signs of UAVs, their spectral, energy and spatial characteristics. Described options for solving the problem according to the methods of constructing algorithms and programs for detecting drones. Briefly presents the results of acoustic studies of UAVs
