Переваги логарифмічного профілю над REC.709

Abstract

This work is devoted to analyzing the advantages of logarithmic color profiles over the Rec.709 standard in digital video production. The study examines the impact of dynamic range, color correction flexibility, and detail preservation in highlights and shadows. A comparison of the practical applications of both profiles is conducted, highlighting their suitability for different production needs. It is concluded that logarithmic profiles provide greater post-processing flexibility and improved image quality, making them preferable for professional video production, while Rec. 709 remains a practical choice for quick work flows.
