Abstract

The paper examines the essence of fiscal policy as an important instrument of state regulation of the economy. The main objectives of fiscal policy are analyzed, in particular, ensuring economic growth, employment and price stability. The main instruments of state influence are determined - taxes and government spending. The types of fiscal policy are characterized: neutral, stimulating and restrictive. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of implementing Ukraine's fiscal policy under martial law. The role of international financial assistance in ensuring budget sustainability is highlighted. The importance of effective fiscal policy for stabilizing the economic situation in the country is emphasized.
