Моделювання фотонно-кристалічного хвилеводу на основі решітки Кагоме

Abstract

A two-dimensional model of a microstructured optical waveguide based on a Kagome lattice has been developed in this work. The waveguide consists of a hollow core surrounded by a periodic arrangement of air holes forming a Kagome lattice. A perfectly matched layer is used as a boundary condition to minimize reflections at the outer edges of the simulation domain. Numerical simulations using the finite element method (FEM) provide spatial distributions of the electromagnetic field components, allowing for an in-depth analysis of mode propagation.
