Abstract

The paper proposes an approach to managing a project aimed at developing medical software for detecting diabetes based on specified data. Particular attention is given to the challenge of combining flexible user interface development methodologies with the strict requirements of regulatory standards for class C criticality software. The limitations of traditional waterfall models and the difficulties of using Agile methodologies in an environment that requires full compliance with requirements and detailed documentation. A hybrid approach to software product lifecycle management is proposed, combining the use of Scrum for user interface development and the V-model for the implementation of safetycritical system components
