Abstract

This paper analyzes the modern lighting market in Ukraine with a focus on comparing LED lamps and incandescent lamps. The study reviews the history of LED technology adoption in household lighting, their technical characteristics, and economic advantages. It is established that LED lamps consume 6–8 times less electricity and have a significantly longer lifespan (30,000–50,000 hours) compared to incandescent lamps (1,000–8,000 hours). Special attention is given to the Titanium brand, which offers a wide range of LED lighting products for the Ukrainian market. The potential impact of LED lamps on human health is examined, particularly risks associated with flicker and the blue component of the spectrum, which may disrupt circadian rhythms. The conclusion highlights that LED lamps are more economical, reliable, and safe when properly selected, and their widespread adoption contributes to the transition toward energyefficient technologies in modern conditions.
