Abstract

This article explores the critical role of pre-production in the video production process, with a particular focus on its impact on the subsequent video editing process. The study highlights the importance of storyboarding and shot size planning. Proper pre-production significantly reduces post-production time, minimizes errors, and ensures a coherent narrative structure. The relationship between visual planning and the effectiveness of nonlinear editing systems is discussed. The results show that careful pre-production is the foundation for creating high-quality digital content and expanding creative possibilities.
