Зміна оптичних властивостей прозорих матеріалів під дією лазерного випромінювання як механізм запису інформації

Abstract

This work reveals the physical mechanisms of changing properties of transparent materials for creation of new optical recording systems. The object of the study is the process of interaction of laser radiation with transparent materials. The study analyzes the optical characteristics of materials, examines the mechanisms of linear and nonlinear absorption and demonstrates how structural changes ensure the formation of information elements. This paper provides review of increase of absorption in semiconductors by laser radiation with wavelength in the range of material absorption-edge.
